Tom Shafee, Guildford, England I'm a Shodan (1st dan) in Shukokai (way for all) A derivative of ****oryu, it concentrates on a rounded corriculum in that there is everything in there, there's a good balance between competition and traditional karate.
Tim (Hiroyuka), Kyoto, Japan Working on Shodan in Wado-ryu karate, have studied muay thai for about 4 months now. currently working with sensei to incorporate more striking techniques, especially elbow and knees, to regime. wado is a combo of a certain japanese jj, and shotokan karate. founded by master 10th dan ohtsuka, who trained under funakoshi, it spread through his numerous students to all over the world. it focuses a lot on jj's principles, the manipulation of ur opponent's body and then striking.

Hey everyone! My name is Mark, and I am from Vancouver, Canada. I study Meibukan Goju Ryu at the CMAA in New Westminister. I am a green belt. The belts in my style go like this: White Yellow Orange Green <- that's me Blue Brown Black I guess that would make me 3rd kyu. The kids have a few more belts to go though, but they generally go faster through each one. (I think it's so that they can have smaller, easier goals to meet) Yeah, so that's me! Nice to be here!
