I have to disagree with this conclusion: "The graphic depiction of the 'ki' is the yin/yang symbol, a half black and half white circle, totally in balance, with a small part of the white in the black and a small part of the black in the white. However, there is no darkness within the Lord (James 1:17) and so by very definition 'ki' cannot be of God." Yin/Yang symbol is not the graphic depiction of chi surely? I thought it was the tao, or something much greater than just chi.
when i was looking for a premises to open my club a lady said "i dont think martial arts are appropriate in a church hall" like we teach people to kill! its so annoying!!!
Man, there are some really really ****ed up people on this planet... for crying out loud... I mean... the thing about christianity that really annoys me, is the constant judging of people, and at the same time claiming that their way is the best way... In my opinion, the Bible is just a way to life good, be nice to people, honour your teachers, parents, relatives, being respectful to others, don't let your live be full of hate, don't kill, steal, rape, cheat or lie.... well, that's great, really, that is great, but my boxing teacher tries to teach me those thing as well.. I mean, MA is all about respect right? about having respect for your opponent, and to not use your skills for evil purposes... as far as i know, karate, taekwondo, you name it... they all have that exact same message right?? so why mock MA??
Well my friend goes to church so he can learn to breakdance. Unexpected but not surprising. Breakdancing and Christ anyone? Go figure.

So what exactly was the point of that ? word babble... ..and making sure I know that karate is the "work of the devil" ? Man, some religious ppl are serious nutcases. Sometimes I wonder if the only point in Religion is too ridiculous itself and to make evil of anything only slightly either going out of the way of the normal "christian" or encouraging free thought and so going out of their control. You could make a list of things that are apparently evil, just surprised that "religious war" and "racism" aren't among them. Well, good to know the karate I practice goes against them. So.. when it's christmass-time again, and we all have our yearly visit to church with family and relatives... perhaps we all could go naked, or even worse, in karate-uniforms... we could also get help from a Gay-organisation, and send some gay soldiers, gay-indians, gay-cowboys, gay-police-men, and gay-firemen with us... it's so crazy, it just might work
