    1830 - 2000: Karate Training
    - "warm-up" of 10 x 3 min rounds (2 rounds heavy bag, 2 rounds "Bob", 2 rounds weights, 1 round shin conditioning, 1 round stretching rack, 1 round wall hangs, 1 round straddle stance)
    - stretching
    - Basic Techniques (kicks, blocks, hand strikes)
    - 100 punches

    2030: Dinner
    - Chicken and rice burrito

    - Beef teriyaki with vegetables and rice

    - Basics (Blocks, kicks, hand strikes)
    - Kumite!
    Note: We had a Shodan test on Saturday, and he successfully completed his 10-man Kumite for promotion)

    1400: Lunch
    - Chicken teriyaki with vegetables and rice

    1730 - 1830: Jujutsu Training
    - Warm-up
    - Throws

    2000: Dinner
    - Striploin Steak
    - Baked potatoes
    - Grilled vegetables (eggplant, red pepper, zuchinni)
    - Caesar salad

    Apologies for the lack of updates as of late. I haven't been able to train because of discomfort in my ribs due to an injury sustained during sparring. I believe that they could be cracked.

    I haven't trained in a long time. I fell into deep cycle of depression and substance abuse for over a year.

    Now I'm coming out strong on the other side, and going back to training tonight.

    I'm back.

    I went back to training last night. It was a smaller class, as the main instructor is currently in Japan.

    1730 - 1900: Karate Training
    - Warm-up
    - Stretching
    - Two-person leg stretch
    - Basics (Blocks, kicks, hand strikes)
    - Partner pad work with combinations

    It was a pretty basic class, but it feels great to be training again. The hardest part was getting myself back.

    Note: I'm starting to notice that training isn't feeling like a chore anymore. I'm starting to get back the passion I used to have for training and martial arts in general. I feel like I'm back on the path for the first time in a long time. Osu!
