Japanese traditional sandles - do they have a 'proper' name?

    i've fancied a pair of these sandles for ages but can't find them which leads me to believe they have a real name :)
    i mean the ones that have the 2 blocks of wood under the feet and the flip flop style strapping.
    think samurai film sandles :)
    any one know? :confused:

    Sorry i don't know where but i feel i need to warn you. Those sandals need a whole new balance. just be careful not to break/twist/sprain your ankle when you try them on.
