Does anybody have any resources on Japanese police kata? Not only Kenjutsu, but also Iaido, Jodo, Hojôjutsu, Yawara...

    What I have is, basically,

    http://www.yorku.ca/kendo/KendoForms.htm [kenjutsu kata; includes videos]
http://www.shinzen-dojo.net/le_dojo/keishi_ryu/keishi_ryu.html [kenjutsu & iaido kata, in French]

I do not, however, know what differences are between the police kata & the original ones (I've been shown the differences in Shiho, since I'm Tatsumi ryu, but nothing else).

    Thanks, happy new year

I think you'd be better off asking this question over at e-budo.com

Who's your Tatsumi-ryu sensei? Pierre Simon Sensei?

I've doubting if I'd answer here or by PM.

Miquel Morancho, from Andorra. He was in BCN when I started. I had to stop training (kind of sad, knowing what you could have learned in 14 years...:( I've just restarted this July). Now he comes a couple of times each quarter, more or less; meanwhile, I do have a sempai (who's been those 14 years, and a couple more, with him) to train with. And as much time as I can get practicing Omote no Kata (iai; jo level) at home.
