I am now an RN. I just found out that I passed the state test and am an RN. In three weeks, I will have my license sent to me and I can start practicing under it. Which means I can start orienting to my new job in the trauma center! Hurrah!
COngratulations Wry! All that hard work and studying paid off So they set you loose on real actual poorly people now?
Way to go Wry! Having a sister that is an ER RN in Austin, I know that you won't be bored and that you can move to almost any state you want! Wishing you all the best girl!
Well done! I salute you and your choice of a career that in benifical to so many. I have so much respect for nurses, doctors, etc.
I have ten to twelve weeks of orientation to the floor, the first part of which is hospital protocols. After that, your butts are mine! Well, they are if you walk through trauma at least. Otherwise, your butts belong to some other poor, unlucky nurse.
Not sure what you are trying to say Wry but..... You can have my butt as long as needles, enemas, and prostate exams are excluded.... Lolz! Congratulations again. I truly hope that you enjoy your new job. My sis absolutely loved working Trauma/ER.
