Today was Day 1 on the Path to Becoming a Lean Mean Killing Machine. :D

Warmup sets of crunches, van damns, body squats followed by:

Three and a half miles of road work...
    One as warmup
Two as a one lap fast walking+shadowboxing, half lap steady pace, half lap sprint.
    Half mile jog+shadowboxing.

A group of deer with serious cojones joined me on the track, munching grass and giving me the evil eye.

    I'm ALIVE!

Sorry, just feels good to kick my own ass in a long LONG while. :bang:

    Yeah, tell me about it.

Local temps just dipped to about 10 degrees F. Going outside not an option today.

But hopefully it'll be a little better tomorrow, for more of the same. Otherwise, I'll just hit the indoor track.

And the protein supplement info has been priceless. Normally after a workout like that I'd be sore for two days, but I took some whey right after as directed and I feel amazingly great considering how hard I pushed myself.

have a week off due to illness and then see if you still have the motivation to drag yourself out of bed when your well again... if you can, your passing the first test :p

    Ugh. Please...don't jinx me.

That happening is a big part of why I'm where I'm at today. Not something I want to repeat.

10 degrees?!? Cold weather rules for training! Get out there! :)
