No one's pm'ed me yet about my offer to enlighten you for $250. This is a steal compared to the amount of books you'd need without me. Please pm me and give me your money.

Thanks, you can apply spiritualism to MA and visa versa, and mix them as well. Some people can apply MA in exercise therapy to reduce suffering, zhan zhuang in their prayer postures, and fighting skill for religious wars, etc. But there no spiritual essence in MA, and does Buddhism has any spiritual essence? Worship is not a good definition for spirituality as some people worship anything.

Religion:spirituality::sex:masturbation as far as I can tell. Something you do alone and best not talked about with people.

Maybe. Spiritualism is another vaguely defined word. The primary goal of Buddhism is the reduction/ending of dukkha.

    My version.
So, there is a problem and it is suffering. Suffering has a known cause. There is a treatment/cure for suffering. The treatment/cure to suffering is your practice

Now, there are differences of opinion as the whether or not the cessation of dukkha is permanent, a cure, or simply a treatment for your suffering at that time. I am of the treatment school. As we are all human new suffering will always arise. My practice is my treatment for when suffering arises.

Some schools take a very spiritual approach to this cure/treatment and some have pretty much no spirituality at in their practices.

That is the very definition of dukkha.

As long as there's no fingering and mooning involved I'm ok.

Does your practice work for you in terms of treatment/cure to suffering?

Of course or I wouldn't be posting about it. And no, I won't tell you what my practice is, you have to figure that out for yourself.

A good starting point is google "how to do zazen".

indeed...it would seem too much of this type will lead to "out of body" :)

Good, this is a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. You think your are suffering, and you think you have resolved your suffering. And does Jack do the same trick?
