Is FMA styles appropriate to someone with a disability?

    Hi guys.

I've been looking around on the internet, studying and reading about martial arts that I think I can involve myself in. To this end I discovered kali/doce pares and I think if I was able to go at a slower pace that I could get on ok with it.

So the question is are any of the FMA types appropriate to someone with a disability? I'm still able to strike and block with my arms and move slowly on my legs and think I would be ok with ratan and knives.

    Thanks in advance.

One of my FMA teachers is "confined" to a wheelchair. Doesn't slow him down much. In fact, he's gotten quite good at using the chair itself to aid in disarms, etc. Go for it.
