How do you know when you're integrating or you've integrated two completely different arts? Is it the flowing on from one art into another? I think I can see myself starting to integrate BJJ/kickboxing, but I am NOT comfortable standing up and exchanging strikes with people - people who have some experience anyway. I am however comfortable shooting in after punches or when they extend themselves (at least started to feel that way during technique work today, we'll see how it goes in sparring tommorrow).
When you no longer have to think about it and it just happens..? When you no longer recognise the difference at the time and it just happens because it's become instinct? When you've gone full circle from untrained fighter through trained fighter to someone who just functions and fights naturally(A bit like above)?
