General Mod Warning. The term 'spazz' is unacceptable on MAP, due to the origins of the word. Please try to remember this. Please also remember that masking profanity (this includes changing a couple of letters in the word) is also against the rules here. Thank you for your cooperation with this policy. As for the subject of this thread. I always struggle to sleep after any training session (be it martial arts, snowboarding, a run or any other sport). It doesn't matter how physically tired I am, my mind is always buzzing after training.
Sorry for my use of the term. I meant it within a purely BJJ lexical context as it is used so pervasively in that circle. I will refrain from it using it in future if it violates the TOS. Will take on board rules on altered prifanity too.
Not sure if this was mentioned. If you are going to take a shower at night, take a cold shower an hour before bed time. This can help you sleep better.
Night cap? I have it straight after my morning class! I kid...... its a lunchtime class, thats normal right?
I've never had a lot of muscle mass. It resulted in me having no options but good technique. I have a bit of flexibility going on for me which is good though.
Well it seems that taking notes after class, not having such a huge meal after (and eating before instead!) and some meditation is helping to sleep after class. Thanks all for the tips, I'll see how this goes.
