In your opinion, what eskrima style is the best for kempoists?

His son Vincent is continuing his art, and yes, he resides in Stockton, CA.

Angel Cabales has passed away but his art is taught by many. There are quite a few in the Northern CA area that teach his art and all are worth studing with. I have had the privilage of studing with about a half a dozen of them.

Where I train, numerous of these great Escrimador's come and teach at times.
I use the term with a "C" rather than the "K" because that is the way GM Angel Cabales spelt it. "Cabales Serrada Escrima".

I like doing Kali with Kempo. It blends well.

You might want to go over to the FMA thread and read about the term Kali and see what many on this board feel about it, LOL. I am one who feels it is the art that was in the Islands prior to the arrival of the Spanish and others feel it is not. I don't know your position on it, but it is an interesting read.

Thanks Gary. I will take a look at it. I have no position on it yet. I know I was taught it by my Kempo instructor. I will read.

Not trying to stir things up now that they seem to have quieted down, but Jon Ward really needs to/should charge more for the value he is giving. Kids these days. ;)
