Hi guys, Im training regularly with my sensei, and while Im still a white belt, Im really hoping to take this further and maybe look into competing in open tournaments when i get chance (currently finishing uni, got another few months of that to do first) so Im wondering, is there usually a prerequisite of rank in tournaments and such?
Nah, everybody can compete and find someone of similar age/weight/experience. You'd be placed in adult white belt division and your weight class. Good luck
No prerequisite rank, just ask your coach if your safe to compete, and Learn the rules before you go.
