If I say Martial arts what do you think of, tell me. Tell me what ever comes to mind.

For me the very first thing that I thought of was Bruce lee

 

personal expression.


the more i study the more i feel like everything is the same and you just have to let muscle memory and your own intent of thought kind of take over and do the work. and its so personal, the way i throw a kick will never be the exact same way anyone else does.

Met a lot of em thru martial arts and it was the first thing that popped into my head!

a short skinny guy (well athletic so like an asian dude) kicking a giant 8 foot russian in the head. or two very skilled people going at it with samurai swords and jumping off walls and stuff.

 

Confusion

 

The cool MA movies they used to play on Sunday afternoons in the 70's. I miss those. I think they need an all cheezy MA movie network! Voice-overs are a must!

...with alot of: "huh huh huh....you have insulted my family. Now prepare to die!" type lines.

Before i did MA's i thought of A black belt being able to beat anyone & kill with there bare hands.
Now with a little experience i think of people trying to expand their knowledge in a variety of ways.
