I Want to do the Splits!

    How bad do you want it though?

    It's simple if you put in the work.

    I've heard many over the years say they'd love to be able to do the splits, but what they mean is it would be nice if they woke one day really supple.

    Just adding a couple of specific stretches to their busy routine & watching TV in a different way :)

    I want it "somewhat". I want to see the information and then decide if I can be bothered to put in the effort :p

    I seem my last opponent can do it now. I just want to join in the trend. I imagine it will make some fancier kicks easier. And my wingspan would be huge!

    I'd like it too but several groin pulls suffered in my early teens prevents me from ever doing a side split. I have had 200+lb blokes stand on my legs with their entire body weight and best I could ever do was 4" from the floor. Front to back splits, I have come much closer but never flat to the floor. No matter I'll kick knees and ribs instead of your head! :)

    I chuckled at this; but its true.

    Van Zant's Guide to Flexibility. IIRC he was going to consolidate, sort and update it - at least that was the plan last year. With all of the medical problems he's had this year, I'm not certain he was able to get 'round to it.

    Splits, zero progress. Not enough time in the day.

    I'd quite happily vote for Nicola Sturgeon as the next PM.

    Nicola Sturgeon is much more likeable than Salmond. Plus she looks genuine when she speaks. We can only hope eh?

    And yeah, I think a lot of the resistance to Alex Salmond came down to him not being very likeable (at least among all the other boring and annoying personalities that makes up the spectrum of UK politics).

    I don't have the rapport you guys have but that routine sounds great.

    I don't know what it involves, but could you try it Bill Wallace style? I.e stretch while watching tv?
