Hmmm... can't log in.

I can't log into a particular website and I have no idea why at all! I definatly have the right password, and a friend told me to clear all my cookies and history etc. so I did..... but it still isn't working. The website isn't blocked either, any ideas why I can't log in?

 

Perhaps they don't like you so they cancelled your membership?

Thanks Sarge. I'm not even joking when I say my password has changed. I'm soooo confused. I use the same password for everything.

 

Do you think someone could have got your password then changed it??

Not sure, it's really strange though.

 

A couple of thoughts:
1. You could try using a different browser to access the site. That would eliminate cookies and suchlike.
2. Sites often have an email me my password option.

 

Try doing an antivirus scan, and spyware/malware scans....

I had the same problem this morning, when I tried to get into a site that I use every day, but would allow me to enter. I tried a full virus scan, spyware and malware scan, then rebooted, and it worked.

Not sure if the scans helped all that much, but it must have found something that was preventing me in accessing the site

 

Just to let you know, I can log in now. I had my password sent to me again and apparently it was wrong. Stupid thing.
