Thanks everybody, actually it didn't take that long to put together. Most people in the team have known each other for 10+ years and have been practicing HKD together. Demonstrations like this is something we do once or twice a year, so it is also a lot of 'lets do what we did last year'. The first part of the demo is mostly hankido, some basic technique and some standard self defense. The form is not hapkido and also not hankido. My teacher learned Chinese martial arts in Incheon China town when he was younger. The form you see is a Long Fist form, a contemporary version can be seen here: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEllGdmG7K8"]ChangQuan - San - Contemporary - YouTube[/ame] The Sinterklaas-part is a bit of hankido jungbong, but more for show. Also the fact that the staff broke didn't really help (no, it was not part of the demo). The sword work is hankumdo. The falling is typical demonstration style falling I guess. You see it a lot in Korean demo's as well. The kicks are mostly for show. We don't really practice the back flips and all, just happen to have some students with a background in gymnastics who are able to pull it of.
