I'm looking for someone to respond to my post in the "Beginners Section", looks like most everyone is in this Forum. So here I am trying to get your attention for some help choosing the best type of style for my 8 year old boy.

Karate, TKD, Judo would all be good. Take him to classes from each, perhaps in a few different schools and see which ones he enjoys and you think teach valuable material. The instructior is more important than the art.

A grappling system because it usually takes longer to advance in them. SOmething like BJJ. If he starts now he could be a purple belt by the time he's 18.

    Try judo.
