Anyone ever hit the bag and hurt their wrist? I woke without pain but I can't weight bear to do push ups. It's just on the ulna/ little finger side and has began clicking. The pain is right where the ulna meets the carpal bones.

Yeah several times. Pro tip, don't hit it as hard next time! :D

How are you wrapping your hands?

Poor technique, sounds like you have hit the bag hard without a straight wrist.

Technique first, power comes later. Wait for it to heal, and try not to rush your training.

    Did you get an x-ray?

If you are in the UK, my advice is go to A&E not a GP.

GP will be, wait for appointment, then get referred, wait a week for X-Ray appointment, wait 1 week for results, wait few days for another GP appointment.

    Vs

A number hours in A&E but have it all checked in 1 day.

No mate. Was only minor injury for me. However if you are in enough pain to be considering getting an X-Ray, get one.

I'd say this ^^^ If you have pain, and have a clicking in the joint, you're likely to be X-Rayed, when I went with an elbow that clicked and knocked recently (check injuries section), they was quite eager to X-Ray.

Any fractures? My body seems to click all over.

None at all, it turned out to be a tendon issue mine.

But if you're concerned get it checked.

I have a suspicion mine is the same as I don't have the soft tissue swelling you usually get with fractures.

I will get it checked though.

What did they do for it? Tell you to rest and wear a support?

That's not a bone injury, that sounds more like you have damage/inflammation to the tendons/ligaments (always get those muddled) which is causing them to tighten up.

Yup, sounds like you caught the bag with a bent wrist. It's easy to do if you're not careful actually.

Sounds like you've got a bit of a sprain. I take it you can still use cutlery, hold cups, kettles and the like without too much pain?

That's right, I can. It's just twisting and push ups that are killing.
