Best post award!! No way that ref could see the ball touch the ground in the final french push, NO WAY! Robbed we were!
You are a damn Yankee now Cait. Reqardless of your heritage. For what it's worth, I married and O'Dwyer! And me, red blooded Cajun, coon-a$$ed white boy from D.C.! Talk about family fights! Got 'em in spades! :bang:
oops, my bad cait... 'twas a late night...tá brón orm always great to hear of people proud of their irish heritage... where'd Érie come from though?
no prob, mandras comes form me not speaking gaelic, just picking up some here & there. i know the anglicized version is Erin, but was under the impression that Érie or Éireann were more correct... feel free to correct
I didn't notice. Typo's are a part of life. Too bad some people were not more like typos and could be fixed or deleted.
Following up from the initial post how did everyone's day go? I can actually say this was probably the best St. Paddy's day I've had yet (and in London too! ) but as a result I suffered extensively the day after from the worst hangover I have yet endured in my 23 years. I would do it again though and am sure I will next year! Here's a few nice photo's from the evening... and for anyone who has never seen me that's me on the left in the first one looking appropriately St.Paddy-ed up beside my nice friend Pomme. Anyone got any tales or photos to share?
And finally some more hats... as I say very enjoyable day for me overall! *I scaled these photos down to not use up bandwith.*
