I attend an Antiochian orthodox parish named after St George. The nationalist rubbish is never even mentioned in liturgy. (I've never heard of that till this thread) He's simply recognized as a saint and martyr.
What makes one land mass objectively better than the others? (or even objectively "good"?) Aside from philosophers who believe in certain types of animism, value judgements of land masses are entirely subjective. Also, why is English/British imperialism "good"? Is it better than American/Russian/etc imperialism? Why?
I wonder if maybe people are taking this too seriously? Happy St George's Day, England is a wonderful place to live with a rich history and culture and a great variety of everything packed into a tiny place Mitch
