    Hi
Last night I played football, and did a lot of running/sprinting. Went to bed feeling fine, but this morning I woke up with bad pain that is in my top part of the hamstring/bum.

Should I ice it or heat it? rest it or stretch it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

i find that personally for me heat always does much better than ice, but some may disagree. the judo sensei i'm gonna start training under does ice baths i believe for a minute or two, altho i don't know when he does em?

Alterante ice and heat and anti-inflammatories+rest.
