Just got a gym/swiss/exercise ball (65cm) for my birthday.

Anyone know any good websites for exercises?

Preferably somewhere with clips or animations.

    Happy birthday to you...
I once was given a pair of 2k purple plastic dumbells for a present. It was a shame because I couldn't very well say 'no, never bring these anywhere near me ever again'.

Also good for balance and keeping your weight on someone.

Get on in a side mount, switch to scarf, back and forth.

Keep your hands, knees, elbows, hips off the ground.

Got some guard work drills with them too. Lots of fun.

I've been playing with one too,

Pushups on them are interesting, one arm is tricky...

    Also dips, crunches, back extensions,

Put them under your ankle, lie on your back hips up and roll it towards you - one leg or both.

Squats - put it between you and the wall and keep your back to it.

Get in a pushup position feet on the ball and pull it in under you - knees stay up and push it back out.

Lots of stuff to do with them...

Probably not what you are looking for but f you are a balance junky then it's for you!

Standing on one leg bounce the swiss ball and try not to move the standing foot from the starting position.

The physio has made me do this to recover my damaged ankle ligaments.... ihate her, i hate her, i hate her!!!

    Grrrr

Hi Andrew - if you could post some of those guard drills with the Ball that'd be great.

    Here is a few:

Sit down facing a partner, ball in the middle, feet on the ball. The goal is to put the ball over your head using your legs. Push there legs off, pull the ball away, etc.

Guard Dodgeball - People in the middle sit down and those on the outside try to hit them, but it has to hit above the waist. So they can use their legs to defend. Throwers should use passing to try and catch them from behind. Idea is to learn to spin and keep your legs between you and your opponent (ball)

Guard Soccer (Ripped from "Play as the Way videos" Play soccer from a crab position, using your legs to control the ball.

Lie on your back, ball between your legs. With / Without using your hands get so your sitting on it.
