If you've never heard of a GrappleThon, the concept is very simple: have at least two people rolling over a twenty four hour period, fundraising for a good cause. Jodie has set one up in Congleton (it's near Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, if like me your geography is rubbish ), which is supporting the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust. Anyone can take part (there's no charge: ideally you would do some fundraising for the charity, but that's entirely up to you), even if you've never grappled before. The atmosphere at the last three events was amazing: super friendly, relaxed and all happy to be working towards a good cause. If you'd like to join in, the event will be hosted by Jodie's school, Warrior Martial Arts. All the details are up on her site, here. Whether or not you're taking part, you can of course donate, wherever you are in the world! The page for donations is here: JustGiving can accept donations no matter where you live, especially as there is a PayPal option. No amount is too small!
