Good quality Karate gi's in the uk? Hi folks, looking for some advice on where to get a good quality karate gi. Im looking for a pretty heavy duty one with short sleeves and legs. there is so much out there.
Blitz White Diamond are good, as are Kamae (called something different now?) and (if you can afford it) Sheureido. If you're looking for short arms, you want a japanese cut suit.
As usual I'm reccomending Kwon. As llama said you want Japanese/Kata cut. If you need it for Aikido (short sleeves for weapons), Nine Circles has good quality gi's. Heavier than Karate but lighter than Judo so quite comfortable. Think they even have a "summer" lightweight version.
I've not bought a Karate gi but the quality and service of the stuff I have got from Black Eagle (see Sam's post) has been great. The prices seem very good as well. Rob
