I know that I can't advertise an event until I've been here a while or unless I pay $10 to get it posted... Where would it be most appropriate for me to try to gather folks together for mutual training events? I have organized three non-profit training events over at Bullshido.net (we call them Throwdowns), and they've been great. A bunch of different people getting together to present information, do some sparring with new faces, make some new friends, etc. We plan them every few months, and I'd like to open it up to greater audiences in order to break down the provincialism that separates our martial community. Just wondering before I go posting and forcing you to delete the post... Thanks!
We do that to. Although most of the are in Europe. We call them MAP Meets. Look at the "off topic" section. There is a sticky for a meet coming up in Winnipeg next summer. I dont think organizing a meet is advertising either.
