I have found an interesting Karate school in my area. I went in to ask some questions, and I found out that the style was 'Fushin Ryu'.

I cannot find much information about this style on the Internet, but based on what I have seen, the style seems legit.

Anyone here on MAP know anything about this style?

I wonder what kanji it uses for the name.

e.g. 不信 流 - would apparently mean something like "untrustworthy school".

    Not very good marketing.

    Looks like they use 風神

Wind god? Divine wind? Something like that possibly?

Or the actual name of the god Futen/Fujin?

Though one site gives this "The name, Fushin, while difficult to translate, is the Japanese word for the “swoosh” sound a sword makes as it cuts through the air."
