The instructor suggested I try Chinese Lion dancing at this place: http://www.china-pearl.co.uk/?q=content/workshops-classes I must admit it seems like an interesting idea and it would improve my ability to dance, which would help when the Latin and ballroom dance classes start again in September. Learning calligraphy and Mandarin may help settle my restless mind.
I have never done the lion dancing, but used to go to a kung fu school where they did it. It looked really cool, but the drumming and cymbals were very, very loud. In my youth I was a thrash metal guitarist, and I'm still a guitarist in a band - so this should put the loud into perspective. Still, if I ever do back to Kung fu, might give it a try (the drumming at least). maybe will wear ear plugs.
20 pushups 20 pistols 15kg 20 deadlifts 30kg 4 door frame pullups 1 muscle up 20 handstand pushups against a wall Capoeira is overpriced. I currently don't have a job so I cannot afford to go. The most difficult thing about going to yoga today. Was driving there as I am so tired from not sleeping at the moment.
20 pushups between chairs au or cartwheel practice I was surprise that I am still able to do these. tried another muscle up but failed 20 pistols 15kg 5 handstand pushups against wall forearm headstand practice 20 deadlifts 30kg cha cha practice
There is a ballet class which I will try to go to this week. I'll probably look daft. Couldn't manage muscle ups today. 50 pistols 16kg 20 tuck lever pullups messed with one arm dumbell swings.
Beginners Ashtanga yoga. If anyone has stress or anger management or insomnia issues. I recommend Ashtanga yoga.
I can't do ballet tonight because it clashes with some voluntary work. I'll go for a stroll around a park instead.
Another day of walking. I got 'flicked the V's' by some chav in a subaru. And saw an old man faint due to heat exhaustion.
First night I was in Liverpool when I was studying there, I went for a drive to find out where a martial arts club I was going to train at was. I drove through some dodgy neighbourhood (Liverpool I think it's called ) and kids came rushing out of their gardens to throw stones at my car. Lovely place.
Capoeira, tai chi tommorow. The capoeira is too expensive for someone that is unemployed such as myself. I will have to search for something different. There is a TKD place close by but I think it may be a Mc Dojo. I think the university runs ju jitsu classes but they might only start up again in September.
