after about 2 and a half years of bjj i finally submitted my bjj blackblet instructor. i am the first non-blackblet to do so. the technique a triangle. the setup: i controlled one if his arms as he was reversing me from his open guard then wrapped my legs around his head as my shoulders were hitting the matt. anyone can get caught...or lucky. just felt like telling the forum.
wow man that's pretty good!there is a guy i train with that's been grappling for about 2 and a half/3 something years,he's allreadey a purple belt and is just a phenom.
Well done! But, as a very wise instrunctor said to me once a long time ago after I had first brought off a technique against someone a lot stronger than I was; "Remember, anyone, even world champions, can get caught by a "weaker fighter" on the odd occasion. However, if you can do it twice in a row then you're getting better". Keep going
good job i am still waitng to get started bjj. but what belt are you? was the instructor proud or mad?
i recieved my blue belt late last year. he was angry, the proud. "all it means is that i'm a good instructor."
