    Hey everybody

Out of all of the patterns that I've learnt or seen, my favorite has to be either Won Hyo or Yul Gok

My favourite has to be Yul Gok, I won the Scottish open with it just last month. I might like it best cos I'm having trouble with my new pattern joong gun. Any advice?

I think the one I am doing now for grading tomorrow - Taegeuk Ojan.
Check them out at www.tkdvic.com.au. You can save the pattern to your HD.

    Po-Eun

I've always been a big fan of Po-Eun. This has been my favorite pattern ever since the day i started learning it.

Most of the forms in TKD often contain many of the same movements as the next. I found Po-Eun to be refreshing.

I have noticed that even the Tae Geuk patterns will vary a small bit between schools. But my personal favorite so far is Tae Geuk Oh Jang which I will be testing on in a few weeks. Its got back fists, two different kinds of elbow strikes, and I love the application of the ending. Front kick into a step on opponents foot then let your momentum follow through into them with a backfist. Looks better than my description :woo:

I also think the BB forms look pretty awesome but the only one i can recognize is Koryo.

I gotta say...I like Taegeuk 8 (Poomse) and Koryo both WTF. Just learning Koryo, so much to improve yet.

    Top five:
    Taeguk 4
    Taeguk 8
    Dan Gun
    Hwa Rang
Hwan Hyo (I completely guess for that spelling)

The #1 is probably Taeguk 4.

i'd say my absolute favorite is......the one that is combat relavent and actually helps to hone and increase my combative ability........oh wait......none of them.

You know, there are freefight forms. Al ot of my sparring moves I get from my forms.

True. Some people just dont like to practice forms, or learn them, or even remember them after they test.

I like being a martial-artist. I could never try to limit myself to one area of TKD. If i did i would be omitting what makes the art what it is, turning it into what many people make fun of it for....being a sport.

    Favorite TKD Form

Whats your single most favorite TKD form and what do you like about it?ITF,pal gwe,tae geuk,ki chos, black belt forms or any others(sorry if I missed anyones sets,I know there are more). Please list which set(s) you have learned so we can get an idea of the forms pool you are doing?

I practice ki cho 1-3,pal gwe 1-8 and koryo.

My favorite is koryo.I love the way it flows and how it generates a sort of rolling/compounding power as it progresses.I also like the no bs hand techniques in the form.I never tire of doing koryo.

I would have to say that my favorite pattern right now is Gae Baek, even though my screen name is Kwang Gae!

I like all the turns in the pattern, and when you're doing it in team forms it looks really cool.

Palgue Chil for the color belt forms. Don't really have a favorite Dan form, although I do think Koryo is beautiful to watch and reminiscent of traditional Tae Kyon.
