black by far, but i put blue. i had heaps of fun as a blue belt, and like the stage in training it adheres to. Being a a green belt who's starting to calm the hell down.
I'll say green, because in our style it tends to be the point when people start to look like they know what they're doing and you can see some confidence and "karate" in their movements.
The striped white / red belts Karate 6th dans have Other than that, black Same with my Ju Jitsu, it's were things suddenly start slotting together and you start mixing different techniques together etc
Ha ha, sorry Bladey. I think when you hit green belt you'll agree with me though. I bet you'll feel like you're starting to get good and you'll look at orange belts and think "wow, I'm better than them!"
Open keyboard, insert foot Hehehe. You might be right, I'll have to see when I take my green belt test since my green belt is the next one right after orange.
My new favorite color belt, is Red+Black+Blue together. For me it's the coolest looking belt I've ever seen.

====================== It's the belt prior to Black Belt in this case. It is also referred to as a Deputy 4black belt.
Now we have to co-ordinate, with my black Gi green or if really daring yellow. But it has to be a crisp bright green nowt to drabby! If a white Gi, red and white is the new black (good luck if you get one!) if your wearing a blue Gi tut tut sister get off my mat!
Well dont do it on my mat! I was actually at a Judo club once who didnt mind me wearing the black Gi from my jitsu club, but wouldnt let their own students wear anything exept white. Strangely they told us wear what ever out jitsu grades were as well.
