Video here profiling Fang Bian one of the most unorthodox and successful kickboxers of recent times. For those who don't know he was on a 60 fight winning streak before becoming inactive. He has a very strong left leg attack which a lot of fighter's have had problems getting past. What do you think is the perfect antidote to his style? Power roundhouse kick? Head movement? Lateral movement?
He has a really nice left hook. It might look a little off to some but that there's a killer. Strategy? Seems like he's got some signature moves you could prep for. The trouble is he also has a lot of basic technique down especially footwork and and counters. He's also a fairly bigger guy so there is some real weight behind those hits. Ouch. Seems like a really well balanced fighter, taking opportunity of rulesets that give him a decent advantage given his skillset. Id love to see him in some other promotions. You say he's no longer active? That sucks.
