I just read Ender's Game. I absolutely loved it. I wonder how many mappers are into bookls like that, and scifi ones to be general, i'm a huge scifi fan =) Also, i'll be reading the abhorsen chronicles soon, and then Catch 22 =)
I absolutely loved Ender's Game. It was one of those books that just blew me away when I was reading it and left me feeling 'WOW' afterwards. The follow up books are pretty good too.
I thought it was OK, but not great. The only Sci-Fi books that have really made me go "wow" were Isaac Asimov's "Foundation" books.
I've wanted to read the followup books too. I wonder if i can track them down soon enough. I just finished Stephen Kings 'Eye Of the Dragon' as well. Interesting read. Hmmm. i'll have to look these up then. I've finally gotten a break from studies and research *and skyrim =P* to do a little library delving =)
I loved reading sci-fi when I was younger. Don't seem to have the time these days. Ender's Game was a good read, I read a couple of the sequels as well.
