I;m just out of hospital following the emergency removal of my appendix (the old fahshioned way....bit hole in me). I'll be out of training for a few months and I have to accept some muscle wastage and fat gain as part of that. But what should I eat to try and minimise the effects?
A nice healthy balanced diet! Hah! But seriously now, take your mulitvitamin for sure, lots of antioxidents (high dose vitamin C would work) green tea extract...fishoil...
