From theinquirer.net: Don't mess with salesmen By Nick Farrell: Thursday 06 May 2004, 11:16 GERMAN POLICE SAY that Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher was beaten up in a nightclub brawl with computer salesmen – not gangsters as it was first believed. Initially police thought the fight had started when Gallagher, drunk and full of cocaine, got lippy with some local hoods. It's easy to make the mistake - we've all done it. Apparently the computer salesmen had booked their table in the nightclub under the name Matera which was the name of one of the local hoods. Gallagher started the fight by flicking peanuts at them, which in computer sale’s department language is fighting talk. The salesmens full names, and the company they work for, have not been released by the Munich public prosecutor, but all are aged between 32 and 38. Apparently the group leader was a "muscular blond" who decked two Oasis bodyguards with a brass standing ashtray. Gallagher lost his front teeth in the brawl, which reduced the nightclub to ruins. Well, that's sales for you. The Oasis front man may also be charged over an incident which happened two years ago, German police say.
Computer salesman kick ass on the street. Goes to prove that computer sales-fu WORKS in the real world.
