I played "Katamari Damacy" a little bit; it was an interesting little distraction, but I didn't really get that much into it. The King of All Cosmos is officially the campest game character ever - even camper than the guy from FFXII!
As much as I like the Katamari games, this is actually a good thing for the industry. There is now one extra group of groundbreaking game developers out there, people who aren't trying to make the same old platformer/sports/gta clone/fps that everybody else puts out. I'm encouraged by this.
i hate it, send it back to hell from the demonic spawn from whence it came etc... things which are naturally odd are hilarious, but when its designed to be intentionally odd and quirky annoys me a lot.
