I always buy clothes that will let me move freely and I absolutely hate anything that restricts movement. This is also because I usualy run in what I wear, hence the need for elasticity.

Besides, nothing's worse than trying to grab something and your shirt can't even let you stretch far enough...

This is by far...........let's say way too funny.

You buy clothes cause either but not exclusive to: you like em, they look good on you, you have a retarded blackout, your girl likes them on you, ect.

*mental note* tight pants= no high kicks,

This is all I'm gonna say on this cause it is dumb.

Sigh.... everyone has had one of those... the '70s was an entire decade of one long continuous blackout for most people! :D

    yes

Pants, not too tight/binding (besides, that's obscene)
    NO neck-ties! Clip-ons if anything.
Shoes that have good grip, steel toed tennies if I can (I've currently got one pair.... look just like regular sneakers really)
Leather coat, never 'soft' leath, usually harder leather...like a biker would need.

That's generally it, or at least all I can think of with only one cup of coffee in me.

I buy clothing to keep me warm and feel comfy. Usually my clothing is not too tight, so useful for anything, even throwing a nice kick. :)

The club I train, every so often has a class where you train in your Civvies. Speak to your instructor see if he is up for it.
You'll be surprised how restrictive some clothes can be. Usually find after one or two lessons everyone wants to turn up in trainers, jogging bottoms and a loose T shirt, so ban them.
Try training in a suit, you'll soon see how entertaining it can be

I buy my clothes with comfort in mind, actually. I don't care whether its the latest in style or some brand. As long as I like wearing it I'm getting it. Which doesn't actually apply to my gi. LOL :D
