Yeah, now that I've talked to more fighters and been training more and reading articles, I basically feel like an idiot for posting this thread, thanks for the replies though.
dont feel like an idiot for learning something new big pitfall for lifting ....dont fall in love with the mirror while most fighteres lift ....keep in mind that you are a fighter....since we all have limited time to train dont spend it all on the weights. i spend 2 hours a day on martial arts training and only a half an hour on the steel use large multi jointed movements since they are higher yeild
Fighters focus on the compound lifts and some plyo... Their goal is to develop strength and explosiveness, aesthetics is the least of their concern
