What are the differences between the different lineages of JKD? For example, how does Lamar Davis’ JKD differ from Tim Tackett’s?

I’m interested in the different nuances and emphases (not the politics).

All I can say is there seems to be to general sides to the JKD coin.
The what Bruce taught and the what Bruce said. kind of like Jerry Poteet approach JKD vs Dan Inosanto approach to JKD

Lamar is I believe, and I could be wrong, kind of a variant of early Jun Fan, Tim Tackett, I think, is the what Bruce taught side of the JKD fence

Is Tim Tackett’s JKD more contemporary, but Lamar Davis’ JKD is closer to its wing chun roots?

Either way, I think Lamar wins the most fearsome facial expression. I wouldn’t mess with him!

Not sure what you mean by contemporary.

But it is my understanding, and I could be wrong, Tackett is the teach with Bruce Lee taught as JKD side of the fence. As for Lamar, again, it is my understanding that he tends towards being closer to Jun Fan Gong Fu. Inosanto teaches what Bruce Lee taught as a base and then goes off on the concepts side of JKD

And yes he wins the most fearsome face expression contest :D

I see the Jedi were influenced by JKD :)

    Bruu Jun-Fan was a Jedi master ...
