Why do you believe these are spirits rather than chemical imbalances or pavlovian responses to life events and life experiences?
Why do I keep thinking Cgirls home life might be a bit like this? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOpva_iit-8"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOpva_iit-8[/ame]
I'm curious as to why you have posted on here again. Initially you are saying this But now you are leaning to a somewhat opposing view. If you feel you are having these irrational beliefs because of the influence of daemons then why is the scenario in the first quote not possible? A part of me is thinking you've bumped this just to start it all off again.
You do realize that thoughts are just thoughts and emotions are just emotions. What makes a difference is whether you choose to react or respond. When you react you simply let things fire off in you head all willy-nilly. Soon these reactions become you default response, get angry, be depressed and so on. It is easier to live this way as it takes absolutely no effort on your part and you can blame your responses on outside influences. That way you aren't even responsible. The demons made me do it. Or you can look at what's happening, recognize the emotion for what it is and choose what is the best way to respond to what is going on. After a while you default response is to pay attention to your thoughts and emotions and assume responsibility for how you choose to respond. It's called being an adult. Surprising how few people choose this route because your life actually gets saner and more easy this way. I know, I've been both places.
Hey, I too believe in spirits: Seriously though, since when has logical thinking and belief come in the same package?
I don't know what was more unbelievable...her reactions or the fact someone actually procreated with that more than once!
I'm not posessed. And as i said everyone experiences negative thoughts. You may not realize it but spirits do try to lead you astray.
They'd be better off trying to exist before trying anything in my head. That's by FAR the biggest hurdle for them.
Yes I agree both whisky and Vodka have led me astray a few times. How do you know you are not possessed? Who's to say what it is? It may well entail just whispering in your ear all the time. So what exactly is the difference between your first quote and the second? If in the first one you say you think people can be ill due to chemistry and such then why can't you be with your negative thought?
There now follows a information broadcast by Dean Winchester. Things going bump in the night? Dead relatives knocking on your door for tea? Have you recently made a bad decision at a crossroads? Well don't fear here are my handy dandy tips for surviving and dealing with the scary and weird. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6CKImHJscs&sns=em"]Dean's hunting rules - YouTube[/ame]
Lesser issues are demons but bigger ones are just chemicals??? Surely the "black Dog" of depression is MORE likely to be a possession case as it is in extremis? You are not making any cogent sense in your view here
Where does daemon influence stop and normality pick up from? Guess what you do when depressed? You often see the world through a negative filter.
Can be caused by a chemical imbalance doesn't mean it always is. I'm sure you know some angry bitter people with a very negative view. Thats because they have allowed themselves to be influnced by evil spirits. You could end up just like them if you cooperate with the demons.
I have nothing against anthropomorphism in principle. But it's all fun and games until someone thinks it's real.
