do any forum members know of any authentic daito ryu clubs in the uk preferably near the west midlands or in a 50 mile radious of the west midlands.
In Japan, there are five lines of Daito ryu aikijujutsu, there's the Daito ryu Hombu (considered the main line) in Tokyo, there's the Daito ryu Takumakai, the Daito ryu Hakuokai , the Nippon Daito ryu Aikibudo Daitokai and finally, the Daito ryu Roppokai. The main group, in Tokyo have a branch dojo in Russia and a study group in America. The Takumakai in Osaka have a branch dojo in Finland. The Daitokai group have dojo in Italy, France, Poland, Hungary, The Czech Republic, The Russian Federation and also in Israel. The Daito ryu Roppokai have a branch Dojo in Denmark. I couldn't get any information on the Hakuokai. There you have it; No branch dojo for any line of Daito ryu in the UK, however, there are quite a lot of branch dojo in Europe, so that doesn't cross out the possibility of there being an authorized study group in the UK.
