Isn't it possible (and maybe probable) that he will add more dan? There are quite a number of shihan at the very top levels now, so perhaps he'll go up to 20?

I was at Soke's class just 7 days earlier, and I specifically requested Gambatte as well! One of my favorite sayings!

you could divide a circle into 15 or 150, but it would still be a circle.

 

and you could cut out the centre of the cirlce so it become a hole or a void

 

Or you could put fruit, eggs, butter and flour inside the the circle and bake it so it becomes a cake

 

or a doughnut or possibly one of those mints with the non fattening centres
