CMA Practitioners Help, Please: Anyone recognize this style?

    jroe... do you bend forward at the waist (speaking in terms of qigong now) & close off some of the points found in the lower body by that bending in your goat riding stance in WC?

    They do, I bet you don't ... ;)

    Are you referring to them bending over when they go into that low stance?

    Hi, Capt Ann.

    I don't think you will be able to find the roots of Gicheon by this means.

    Bear in mind that the origins of most CMAs are varied and debatable.

    Without documentary or archaeological evidence you will not find a definitive answer.

    Regardless of where it came from, it is what it is now.

    My advice is that you take the art for what it is now and enjoy it.

    Yohan... I mean there & also when they start squatting in the goat riding stance. They bend forward at the waist. Not like a body repositioning or adjusting weight over a knee, I mean bending at the waist. :0
