Inspired by Bigmikeys thread, Citizens of the Great (but Empty) North, post here Province/Territory is fine enough. Manitoba here, specifically Winnipeg, which is pretty much the ghetto city of Canada (IMO).
If you like beer, hockey, and igloo's, then maybe I make an exception. Nice try, there is a certian art that comes with using the "eh", eh!
I grew up (literally) within sight of Canada - across the border (St. Lawrence River) of Prescott, Ontario and have quite a family history from the Perth, Johnstown, Iroquois, Cardinal areas. I've been fortunate to travel quite a lot throughout Canada and spend a lot of time in Ottawa (my favorite city!)... But sorry for disrupting your thread, as close as I am, I am not Canadian (nor Canadien)...
Hmmm, I'm not sure about Canada's hobbit policy. What do you have to offer to the Great (empty) North?
But there are no others from the Pegusus galaxy in this thread, or on this forum, or in the...... well you get it.
Sigh - you're right! The land of great health care, Tim Horton's, Tim Horton's (yeah - there are THAT many), great people, great history and sights, nice railways, beautiful farms, wonderful museums, and on and on. I've spent extended trips in Halifax, Quebec City, Montreal, (short time in Vancouver), and many, many border towns. Everywhere is awesome. My retirement plan is for me and my wife to live ina small apartment in Ottawa's Byward Market... or maybe Chinatown (on Somerset W)
Hmm, if you teach the teenage girls of Canada about the wonders of weightlifting, you've got yourself a deal!
