BNP are having a bad time of it, as well as another of their alleged membership lists being put on wikileak today, they have received a letter ,signed by some top ex military names asking them to stop using images such as the Spitfire on their publicity. They appear to forget that thousands of people fought for this country that at the moment would not be allowed to join the BNP due to their race. The letter has been published as part of new anti-BNP campaign group Nothing British, which is headed up by ex-Ministry of Sound managing director James Bethell and Conservativehome editor Tim Montgomerie. Disgusting organization hiding behind freedom of speech. There was a bit of a do from 1939 'till 1945 to keep people like this from having control. Then they use images from it a some sort of propaganda. They fuel Welsh patriotism here, hiding their own message to increase support.
bnp - lowest of the low and will stoop below anything to aid there poisonous propaganda. They shuold go one step lower still - and get back under the rock from whence they emerged - and stay there.
Nick Griffin was just interviewed on Radio 4's World at One and says they aren't going to stop using the images, especially of the Spitfire as it embodies the British people fighting off invasion ( excuse the paraphrasing).
I think we should make our own images. Preferably one of a jackboot in his Griffin's face. That would signify fighting off invasion too.
Good. I was under the strong impression that this country fought the second world war to get rid of those bastards. The irony of a fascist using a spitfire in his promotional images...
love em or hate em the BNP are gaining some serious political ground. at the risk of starting a fight (i am no a BNP supporter and do not condone white power in any form and kinda throwing this in as a devils advocate thing) but if black only groups & the MOBO awards are acceptable why cant people be pro white?
*reads up on the BNP* Yeah, if I was a WWII RAF veteran, I'd be mad about these people using images of me and my buddies as well. ...and the number one reason why they should NEVER use "Battle of Britain" imagery: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_National_Party
Especially if I was one of the Polish volunteers from 303 squadron that spit was from. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...lish-Spitfire-in-anti-immigration-poster.html http://www.britishblogs.co.uk/theme...-national-party-british-workers-303-squadron/
That plonker standing in front of a spitfire is priceless. A nazi standing in front of an image the shows why they failed.
That's epically awesome. What a bunch of tools. (The BNP, not the Polish-British aviators, of course). What's next? The KKK uses images of the Tuskeegee Airmen?
I have a master plan to deal with the BNP. In November they are going to change their constitution to allow non whites to join, or at least, they will if they wish to continue as a political party in the UK. I am then going to encourage every non racist person I know, white or not, to join the BNP and to convince everyone they know to join the BNP. With me so far? There are far more non racists in the UK than racists, so even if a fraction of the population join me in this scheme, we, the true multicoloured British people will vastly outnumber the current membership. Then next year at their AGM, we table motions to become a pro-europe, pro-mass-immigration socialist party called 'The Flying Spaghetti Monster Conglomerate'. The vote carries because of our numbers and voila, extremism is beaten back once more.
This post is full of win. I would get a fake UK citizenship just to help turn the BNP into "The Flying Spaghetti Monster Conglomerate."
The flaw with the idea of joining the BNP to try to change them from within is that new members don't qualify for a vote in the party's decision making processes. I believe that you have to be a member for a period of time before you get a vote. So even if do get forced to open their membership to everyone, I would imagine that any non-whites who joined would risk getting some pretty serious intimidation long before they qualified for a vote. Scratch the surface and they are still neo-nazi thugs, despite the veneer of repectability which they are attempting to cultivate. (PS: as someone with family members who fought to save this country from fascist aggression in World War Two, it sickens me that the BNP are attempting to hijack symbols such as the spitfire to promote their own twisted political agenda. They stand for everything which we fought AGAINST.)
Also if we all joined the BNP, changed the constitution the BNP members of now (I know the B stands for Bigoted, the N for Nazi but I can never remember what the P is for?), the hard liners would slink back to the organisations like C18, Blood and Honour, White Wolves and the Racial Volunteer Force, while incapable of campaigning democratically to any extent they would step up the violence against minorities and recruit amongst the ne'er-do-wells and challenged they feed off.
