I am referring to Waterbury Method, ABBHI II, etc, etc. For those of you who have some experience with these programs, in your opinion, what is the optimal program for fat loss? I know diet is numero uno, but good program must complement 4 times a week cardio. I was thinking WM primarily because of 10 x 3. What you think?
What kind of cardio work are you doing right now? I had my best fat loss results when doing Mike Mahler's High Octane Cardio. From the article: "You could do HOC three times a week and hit the weight room one to two times a week. This option would really be for those who want to lose as much fat as possible in the least amount of time. It's also a good option for those that compete in mixed martial arts or some other combat sport."
Thx. I think i'll do simple 2x week full body workout like day 1 DL, Pull up, Squat, Dips @ 80% 1RM 10 x 3 day 2 Squat, Row, DL, DB press or similar.... @ 80% 1 RM 10 x 3 as for cardio day 1 sprints 30 sec, 45-60sec slow pace, for 10 mins. day 2 rope jump 10min day 3 is day 1 day 4 is day 2 + few rounds on heavy bag should be fun btw i'm not fat lol
Squat and DL at that intensity on teh same day might be problematic for the lower back. Other than that, your activity looks fine since you're not fat
HOC is BADASS! There are tons of awesome fat loss articles on there. I heard Don Alessis meltdown was particularly good. Thibeudeaus running man article also had some nice stuff.
i might lower it to 75%. That's 10RM or so i think. So 3 reps is not all that bad. Yeah HOC is awsome, but not practical at the moment. cheers
