Best Bodyweight Exercise for Biceps?

    Never done it across carpet just tiled floors.

    What about dips from hand stand folks?

    Got my Jackie Chan head on tonight, but surely that's a pretty heavy exercise?

    Andy, yeah man, the handstand pushup. I love it, but it's a killer.

    Thanks for the replies folks. The slow lower on the chin up isn't one I've tried before, so I'll give that a go.

    That spike drag sounds like what my cat does across the carpet to scratch her ****! :eek:

    You really do have more than enough test, at least until you're in your 30's. One thing to consider, though--resistance training stimulates the production of growth hormone. So, if you do it while your growth plates are still open, you could easily grow taller than you otherwise would.
    Oh, and you could always try the Charles Atlas/Pete Sisco static contraction stuff for your biceps.

    I would start by doin handstands against a wall so you can concentrate on the dip rather than the balance. After you can do a few dips move from the wall and incorporate your balance.

    or even better get a partner to hold you steady.

    well , then how come all the really big guys in the football team at my school are short?

    and i still want to grow a bit more 5'11, 6'0 . I'm already taller than my dad so that may not happen .... or would it?

    That's a bit like asking why all the marathon runners are thin.

    Doing dips from a handstand would work your triceps, since the exertion phase is when your straightening your arms, not when your curling them.

    It would also work your deltoids and traps - but biceps? Nope.

    Yeah, sorry, that's my fault!

    I was thinking more about using bodyweight for exercise, rather than specifically the biceps.
