Hello, I'm struggling on ebay for a 4 dvd series on Beladiri Silat by GURU ERROL DEPPE. Now the price has turned in a very expensive, more then 48/50 us dollars per tape and they are 4. (expensive even with my strong euros that helps). I found very little in the net about Guru Deppe and his silat. Seems to me he is involved in the JKD Inosanto Branch. Does anybody knows is expertise and can suggest me if it is worth my money??? I ordered a book of him about Beladire history burt I have not got it yet. Thanks for help..but fast, please. Sorry Bios69, I found what I think was a demo of Beladiri Silat ... might have been on YouTube ... it's slipped my mind, anyhow I would be using my cash on something else ... seeing as you wanted an opinion ... and it's scary learning from DVD I think, especially if you've not been exposed to silat before. I'm not able to recommend a substitute if its DVD's that you want ... but I'm sure other Euro (Saudara Kaum, East West Studios?) or US friends (Cliff Stewart, De-Bourdes, Sera, Bobbe Edmunds?) have quality suggestions. Walang, thanks for your interest. I know that most guys in this forum do not share much interest for the dvd topic and I have no problem with that.
