    Maybe great as a training device but probably really boring as a spectator sport. People unfortunately want to see real effective strikes and resulting damage. Just look at mma. How many people would watch if everyone was padded up and we had to rely on sensors to determine who won. People want to see the knockouts and submissions!

    You may be right but remember plenty of people go and watch WWE and most people know its a show.

    i see that armor as more useful to riot police and such than martial artists honestly. or if the exterior could be hardened to become bullet proof it would revolutionize the military (not that we need even more military technology).
