coming soon to a movie theater near you: "2", the gripping tale of king leobunnydas and his girlfriend, trying to reach their destination while assailed from all sides by envious archery enthusiasts. their arrows... WILL BLOT OUT THE SUN!

    only in theaters.

That makes no sense, there is no sun in theatres.

I'm hoping to be able to make an 80lb pull bow. I'd like more, but don't want to get too ambitious for my first make.

Hmm. How far is Norway from England, and what's the range of a longbow...?

I never felt comfortable drawing more than 40lb, more than that is fine if for a few but try it for a competition with 100 shots. Like the idea of a shortbow, no additional fancy equipment

I'm not planning to go into competing with hundreds of shots, just my own practice. Also spoke to a trainer at the gym who's given me a couple of exercises to improve my archery pull and I can comfortably pull and hold 120lbs now, but don't want to get overambitious with the actual bow.

As for hair shields, fire arrows.

120 lbs? Holy crap, you only need a 100 lb bow for African elephants!

Just make sure you get 'em behind the ear.

I used to enjoy a bit of popinjay in the summer, though with a recurve. Easier on the arm imo. I doubt I could pull a 120lb bow, even a compound!

He may be a Lil' Bunny Rabbit, but in the Monty Python sense of the term. Beware the vorpal bunny!

    Best regards,

    It works!

A bit too well even, from somewhere around 30 yards those arrows were embedded over an inch into solid oak. Pliers were required for retrieval. I'm gonna have to buy a proper target.
